New Sony DSLR release imminent?
Posted on July 6th, 2007 by Jay Lee

According to Photoclub Alpha, the next generation of Sony DSLR cameras may be soon to be released. In a post dated July 5th they feature a press-release resolution (14Mb) image of the new Alpha (seen above).
Of course details are pure speculation at this point. If they manage to get a handle on the noise problems at the higher ISO ranges that would be a HUGE selling point.
This makes me very happy as it reassures me that there will be an upgrade path for the infrastructure I have begun to build around my brand choice.
Man, I hope so. I’ve been looking at the A100 to replace my current Minolta film cameras. Sony needs to make a commitment to the future support of this lens line and these new products would signify that.
I want to get the new sony DSLR TO Replace my current A100. I just wondering how much it will cost me without the lens.
The A100 was on my list to replace my Minolta until I heard of the new release due soon. I’ll be traveling in September and would like to get this new Sony before then. Any updates on a release date? Ritz and Wolfe Camera haven’t heard a thing. Thanks. D.
