Fake models

Mini Arc D'Triumph
Clicky Click!

A scale model of the the Arc D’Triumph and the surrounding area?

Nope.

I used Photoshop to manipulate a picture I took from our vacation to Europe.

The original is here.

I’ve been reading about the technique and this is my first attempt.

Jeff Laitila at Sushicam achieves this effect using a shift-tilt lens on his camera:

For those of us who don’t have the bucks to drop on a 65mm Hartblei Super Rotator Tilt Shift lens, much less the ability to go back to Paris and re-shoot, the Photoshop option is an econimical alternative.

Of course I may need to find a way to scrape up the money now.

Absolutely, Jay. Your way is the way *I* would do it.
