Wee Irish Laddies

Such an inside joke.

The Wee Irish Laddies (myself, Jim Henkel and Greg Henkel) were the official first act of The Gong Show at the Continental Club. (Officially the first gonged as well.)

The house band was Pete Gray, David Beebe, Alan Hill and Jim Henkel playing under the name “The J.P. Morgans.”

Hopefully this event will continue and grow on Wednesday nights.

John Lomax explains why we were gonged…

“There’s no pot of gold at the end of that rainbow”
